POEDe ka ba?
• Punctuality - Hikers must arrive at the meeting venue on time. Hindi po hihintayin ang mahuhuli nang dating sa oras ng tagpuan.
• Outdoor Ethics required. Iuwi ang kanya-kanyang basura. You are expected to respect nature, and must not pick flowers or any plants or remove species (flora and fauna) from their natural habitat.
• Determined that you can finish the hike at a crisp pace. Please check out our „Boot‟ system.
A.H.O.N. Boot System
(Level of difficulty are rated by a count of boots)
1 Boot: Easy relaxed walking, usually along flat trails or with a few low hills involved. Suitable for beginners.
2 Boots: Walk with challenging trails and usually longer but still within the endurance and capability of most walkers. Will not involve hills as high as 500 metres.
3 Boots: Walk that requires stamina and not suitable for walkers who have difficulties in high places. Also classified as “trek” because of its length and it involves elevations over 500 metres. More patience and endurance is necessary. Not recommended for novice hikers.
NOTE: You are attending the hike at your own risk. The event host will try his/her best to assist and guide, but is in no way responsible, liable or accountable for any damage or personal injuries.

Am I ready for the hike?
While we welcome anyone who enjoys walking to join us, we need to stress that walking, to us, is hiking, not strolling. You should prepare yourself to walk at a crisp pace, which is at least twice the pace of when you go malling. Please also check our boot rating system carefully and evaluate your walking ability before you decide to join our hikes.
